Printing Matters!

Many of my friends and family know that I am a huge Shutterfly.com fan. I love getting my pictures printed through them because I know that I will get them at a good price, but more importantly, I will be getting photos that are printed pretty darn close to what I see on my computer screen.

In the picture below you can see three images.
1. The first image is the digital image of what I see on my computer (or really what you see on your computer).
2. The second image is a print from Shutterfly.com. It is not exactly what I see on screen, but it is pretty darn close. It is just a little bit darker and little bit more blue.
3. The third image (eww...) is from a store that has a photo printing lab in it, but it is NOT a professional printing lab (examples are Wal-mart, Target, Walgreens, etc.,). I am not going to name the company here so as not to embarrass them, but it looks terrible. You can see the difference without me having to go into any detail.

Online places like Shutterfly.com have great deals on their prints all the time, you just need to sign up for their emails. Another great online place to get pictures printed is mpix.com.

My point here is that if you are going to spend the money, PLEASE get your photos printed through a professional printing lab!

p.s. Yes, that is my cute baby girl!
